I was contacted by a Lady and she needed to sell her husbands Marklin z collection. He passed away after been ill for quite some time and nobody in the family was interested in his collection.

A friend and myself went to visit and we had a good look at everything.

The locomotives and rolling stock was in good condition all in original packaging.

There was also a fairly big layout - 1.9m x 2.6m L shape.

I was really interested in the layout, so my wife told me, we will make a plan, make the lady an offer. So I did, and not I have the layout.

But there is some serious cleaning needed as everything is a brown colour from the dust and sand.

So, HERE WE GO !!!

I saw this layout in the Window of the Model Train shop and it is basically the smallest you can go with z. I found the plans and decided to make it work for me. I had to make the layout longer because I want to use the station I had. Now the build will start !!!!!
